Job Title: Medical Transportation Driver
Department: Operations
Reporting to: Transportation Manager
Classification: Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Temporary On‐Call
Compensation: $9.79 per hour to start. (1099 employment)
Effective Date: TBD
Probation Period: 90‐Day Orientation

 

SUMMARY
Provide the transportation of patients/clients to and from hospitals, convalescent facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical offices and their private residences in a safe, secure and professional manner.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Must comprehend, and comply with, the All Points Assisted Transportation Employee Handbook, Driver Manual, and Driver Training outline.
    2. Exceed minimum age requirement of 25 years.
    3. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s license, and provide a current 10‐year DMV printout.
    4. No more than 1 moving violation or 1 “at fault” accident within the past 3 years.
    5. Pass a mandatory pre‐employment drug and alcohol screening.
    6. Must pass a mandatory criminal background test.
    7. CPR and First Aid certification.

Job Description: Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will assist clients and serve as a liaison between the counseling center and members of the community. The Administrative Assistant will facilitate communication between staff members and the members of the community; and maintain the schedule, appointments and follow-ups between clients and counseling staff members.
Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant is also responsible for general office management which includes: department reception and telephones, assisting with report writing, tracking and documenting department budget, coordinating weekly case review meetings, and providing general administrative support to members of the counseling center.
Administrative Assistant Duties:

  • Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
  • Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient’s arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
  • Comforts patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties; answering patients’ questions; maintaining the reception area.
  • Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
  • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
  • Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
  • Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs.
    Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
  • Protects patients’ rights by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

     

    Medical Office Receptionist Skills and Qualifications:
    Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing, Professionalism, Quality Focus

    Qualifications:

    • Customer Service: 2 years (Required)
    • Office Administration: 1 year (Preferred)
    • High school or equivalent (Required)

     

    Job Description: Behavioral Health Provider/ LCSW/ Registered MSW Intern

    Preferred Qualifications :
    Three years’ experience working in an outpatient setting. Trained in behavioral health concepts including but not limited to CBT, DBT. Trained in social, systems and familial aspects of psychological conditions. Trained in substance abuse identification and treatment. Bilingual a plus

    Required Qualifications:
    Master’s in behavioral health field including; Social Work or Counseling. LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) required. Insurance paneling eligible. 3 years working in a clinical setting. Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment. Experience with MS Outlook, Basic Computer knowledge. Must be a team player with excellent communication skills and strong emotional intelligence. If applying as an interned must be registered with the Florida Department of Health with a clear status of registered intern. Mandatory supervision hours will also be required as a part of employment. Must be able to be added to insurance panels or already credentialed on insurance panels.

    Behavioral Health Provider/LCSW
    Initials screening and evaluation of patient and families, including but not limited to comprehensive psychosocial assessment of patients. Helps patients and families understand the illness and treatment options, as well as consequences of various treatments or treatment refusal. Helps patients/families adjust to hospital admission; possible role changes; exploring emotional/social responses to illness and treatment. Provides referrals for services needed. Uses tests, measurements, and measurement scales for general and specific assessments as well as objective patient criteria in the provision of services and evaluation procedures. Diagnoses underlying mental illness; providing or making referrals for individual, family, and group Psychotherapy. Coordinates patient discharge and continuity of care planning
